Chitter Chatter

Jace is definitely my VOCAL child. You can hear him from ANY room in the house. If you can't, then he's up to something or else he's pooping. (That boy is at LEAST three times a day). He's been such a chatter box lately. They learned boy and girl at school and he's starting saying "bye-bye gurl" all the time. He's already got a southern drawl..... He is attempting to say SO many words. Red is "wed" and thank you is "than thu". They are both so polite because they say thank you after you give them ANYthing. I'm glad they're learning manners already.

Cade attempts more words lately, but he's definitely my musical kid. He can "sing" Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and also "Mr. Sun" (from Barney). Granted there aren't any official words, but he gets every single note down.

I'm really enjoying getting to hear their little voices come out now. They point to color and insist that we say what they are. AND you can NOT make fun of them. Jace gets very upset if you make jibber jabber back to him. He wants you to talk to him normally.

We've been brave enough to put up all of the Christmas decorations. The boys are doing SO good. They just point to their ornaments and they know not to tear them down. You should have seen and heard them the morning when they woke up after we had decorated. Jace came out and said "WHOA!!!". They are both fascinated with the nutcracker that is the same size as they are. We'll see how it goes.

We're right there with you ... I intend to write about some of our "language" happenings in the next couple weeks. It's the most adorable thing to hear these little ones start jabbering. I LOVE IT.

Bravo to you for putting up your Christmas decorations. (It looks like we have the exact same PB stockings!) We intend to start our decorating tomorrow. Maybe...

I love the nutcracker!! I'm so proud of them for behaving with the ornaments! Do you have any audio of them talking?
